On Thursday 29 January 2026, the British Polio Fellowship (BPF) launched its new website. It has been designed with one clear focus: delivering a significantly improved experience for the polio community.

The BPF has carefully listened to feedback, reviewed every aspect of the previous system, and worked closely with staff, volunteers and polio survivors to develop a platform that is clearer, faster and easier to use.

Essential services, information and resources are now brought together in one accessible and intuitive space, making it easier for every polio survivor, regardless of device or confidence online, to find what they need quickly and easily.

Two key online features of the website include:

  • Online membership renewal: Renew membership of the Fellowship quickly and securely through a streamlined online process, with the option to view and update personal details.

  • Online grant applications: Apply for a holiday grant, welfare grant and/or the energy support grant directly through a member portal.
